MY VERDICT: I always love seeing a lady out-do her previous look every single time she hits the red carpet, and that’s what I’ve been getting from the “12 Years A Slave” star on the regular. Lupita was simply stunning when she attended the annual awards gala in Palm Springs tonight wearing an Elie Saab coral sleeveless cocktail dress with regal gold brocade embellishing, which was partnered with a matching three-quarter sleeve coat, from the designer’s Fall 2012 Haute Couture collection.
The bright yet soft colar popped against Lupita’s rich, even complexion while the metallic elements gave off a dazzling effect. The boat-neck cap sleeve cut of the bodice and the nipped belted waist flattered her figure, while the angled straps of those pink satin Christian Louboutin sandals lengthened her legs. Pink toned makeup and gold jewels provided the flawless finishing touches.
Lupita is certainly ‘one to watch’.
