WHO: Meghan, Duchess of Sussex
WHERE & WHEN: Royal Wedding: Prince Harry & Meghan Markle at St. George’s Chapel on May 19, 2018.
WEARING: Givenchy Haute Couture by Clare Waight Keller dress; Queen Mary‘s tiara & Cartier earrings.
The world awaited with bated breath to see what bridal gown Meghan Markle had selected for her royal wedding to Prince Harry, but the wait was over when the 36-year-old former actress stepped out of her car as she arrived St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle wearing a simple yet elegant wide boat-neck long sleeve a-line white gown. The modern take on a classic silhouette was a custom design from Givenchy Haute Couture by Clare Waight Keller.
Meghan wore her brunette tresses up in a chignon with loose tendrils to frame her face, while I would have preferred that she wore it out, the up-do allowed for more focus on her exquisite tiara and cathedral veil; the filigree bandeau tiara, which belonged to Queen Mary, was lent to Meghan by Queen Elizabeth.
Soft makeup and diamond Cartier jewelry provided the finishing touches for her magical day.

WHO: Meghan, Duchess of Sussex
WHERE & WHEN: Royal Wedding Reception at Frogmore House on May 19, 2018.
WEARING: Stella McCartney dress & Princess Diana’s aquamarine ring.
Later in the evening, Meghan — now HRH Meghan, Duchess of Sussex — slipped into another custom frock to attend the royal reception at Frogmore House. Accompanied by her velvet tuxedo jacket-clad husband, Meghan bared her toned shoulders in a white halterneck gown by Stella McCartney. I really liked this dress on her — and I loved her jewelry even more, but maybe that’s because Meghan wore a stunning aquamarine cocktail ring that once belonged to Princess Diana!
